I just put in the nitrous kit for my Dak, all I have left to do is wire the arming switch and fill the bottle. I will post pics of the install tomorrow...hehe. I am not going for overkill, I am just trying to make it over a hill.....hehe. I am starting off with the 35 hp jets, and I might go to the 50's...not sure though.
I did the install by myself in the cold a$$ Freaky Texas weather. I started at 9 am this morning (18 degrees F) and stopped at 7pm.

Some of you other Dak owners may ask yourself, why put nitrous in a 4-banger??? I say...Why not??? With the limits on what we can do to our 4-cyls, Nitrous is an easy answer... :)

Oh nooooo you won't Intense!! Just keep him busy the whole night so I ccan take the whole system. I need it much more than you need to run dual stage! I guess I'm gonna have to save up so I can put nitrous on mine too. Then we can have a trio of non-V8 nitrous injected dakotas.

Ok this post is going to be a bit long, I am gonna try to respond to each of you that asked a question...
kota on 20s- I think I might, I am not too sure yet. I don't wanna completely blow my engine. hehe I am thinking about it though.
Ripper_242- I bought the NX Nitrous Express EFI Dodge kit. I got it from www.racenet.net. They have the best prices that I have found for this kit. I bought for $469 +tax and shipping because they are in Texas.
LI Blackdak -I am not sure what the stock times are, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that it is VERY slow. With the mods I have now (without the nitrous) the performance it really good. I haven't tested the nitrous yet, but I will as soon as my bottle heater, purge system, and gauge.
Lesley - You are a sweetheart as always.... :)
IntenseDak39- Thursdays are bad for me cause I work nights until 10pm...Not sure when "Race Night" ends. Also, I don't think you want to steal my stuff... I AIN'T SKEERED!! hehe.

anybody know about sanger in denton county?
i just spoke to some moron with a 88 tans am with only a exhaust on it and 2.73 gears. he said at sanger he ran a 9.3 after i told him i ran a 9.5. i told him i was at kennedale though and he said the best time he has gotten at kennedale was in the 10s. why would there be that much of a difference. he made sanger sound pretty cheap... not even a clock board. i bet it's not even a 1/8th.

Kennedale is known for not having the best traction around and a lot of peeps better their times at tracks other than Cooterdale. hehehe I'm not going to start going to another track though. Kennedale is a decent track in my opinion and is a lot closer to us than others. I think sanger is one of the "outlaw" tracks and is fairly ghetto, whereas Kennedale is an NHRA track and always uses all the sensors.

I heard the Sanger track kinda sucks. A lot of dentonites go there to show off their stuff. But you have to watch out, the denton cops race their "DARE" mustang out there. It is a stang that was seized in a drug bust. The money seized in the bust was used to mod it out. I have been told that the cops watch who drive their street cars up there to see if they are legal or not, and that if they see you outside of the races on the streets, they mess with you cause they know you got stank in your ride...
