I have a 2001 5.9 QC and I like the K&N FIPK.
I had some minor(?) problems with the first one they sent me. K&N wound up sending me a modified replacement air tube. I believe they have worked all the "kinks" out now.

I also have a 5.9L QC and like the K&N. Installation went well and I believe it will enhance future mods very well. It by it's self doesn't do much noticable however I think it's a good upgrade.

I put one of these FIPKs' on my 99/5.2L/4x4 about two weeks ago and frankly I didn't notice any difference in horse power or gas mileage with the standard exhaust. I did notice that it sounded a heck of a lot better. Just yesterday I added a Gibson Swept side exhaust system and between the two I have noticed a difference in power. The Gibson isn't quit as loud as I wanted but I thought the Flow master would be too loud so overall I'm happy with the combination.
