Hey everyone I was wondering if I could get your opinions on some different superchargers. I would really like to hear from Bernd(if you happen to see this.) I have a 1999 R/T and I have been thinking about getting a supercharger. I have been looking at Vortech, Kenne Bell, and Paxton. Performance mods up till now include: K&N GenII intake, gibson headers, flowmaster 40 series muffler, Mopar camshaft, taylor ignition wires, autolite plugs, and computer re-programmed. (There are other mods I still want to do, like TB and Intake manifold, but I am itchin to get a supercharger.) The Vortech says it adds 96hp to the R/T, should my gains be higher or lower with my modifications? Anyways, your opinions are appreciated.

with the headers, it might be a little better than 96, if vortech didnt have them on the truck that they dyno'd. to get the best power, a 52MM tb and a manifold would give you great gains with the supercharger
i have heard the kenny bell SC is verry hard to tune.
where in so.cal do you live?

I have thought about the Powerdyne but have just heard really good things about the others. What kind of gains did your Powerdyne give you? Paxton has been an option for me because a friend of a friend works at Paxton and is trying to get me a deal. However I don't want to buy one that isn't going to perform, just cause the price is right.

I've read alot of bad posts about Paxtons. I've also been kinda doin my homework on em and Vortech seems like the way I would go. I think they add more HP than any out there. Plus they are reputable and I've heard they have great customer service. Obviously the reason why your buddy can get you a deal on the Paxton is cuz they're starving for business. If I were you I'd go w/ Vortech.

If your buddy works at Paxton can he get you a good deal on a Vortech also?
