Message: D, I have a Powertrax LS setup in my '97 SLT 5.2 five speed.I like it fine. But it is not a "limited slip" it is a NO slip.Very simple install, took about two hours.Didn't have to pull the carrier or anything.I'm sure Auburns are fine, but I believe you have to pull the carrier, which means a total rear-end rebuild($500).If you keep your eyes open, they occasionally offer various brands of LS units on Ebay Motors for a really good price.

Message: No slip = locker?
I've heard bad things about daily driving with
lockers. just want both tires to burn out, and
have better traction in rain, snow, etc...I was
thinking about a factory LS, but cant get a price
on one anywhere.
