Message: You will need a 275/60 to keep close to the stock hight and not throw off the speed too much.

Message: I agree with HSKR, the increase in size would make you look like a 4x4. For every 20 increase in width you need to lower your height 5 unless you want to get a really big tire.

Message: How does changing the tire size effect the speedometer? If I changed my standard rims *not r/t rims* to bigger rims and had low profile tires more or less would that effect they way the guage reads? Is there any way to fix that ?

Message: Oh and just to add to that last post:
I ask because ... I got pulled over once for going "10 over the limit" or something stupid... And i told the cop that i wasnt speeding that i was sure i was going right on... And he asked if the tires i had on were stock ... And I thought they were But i have the tire and Handling pakage.. So he opened my door and looked on the lil panel in the frame and said that they were bigger tires so it effected my speedometer.. so he let me off ? ?

Message: You basically want to pay attention to the tire diameter, the rim size is not important, it is the tire on that rim.
Tell me what size you have and what you want and I can tell you how much it will affect your MPH and maybe suggest a good size tire.
