Message: Hello,
My friend installed one on his Chevrolet Tahoe after I found it on truckperformance.com and it was great. It was a snap to install and looked really good. Not some cheap junk. As for the performance, it worked as advertised. Especially in the throttle response and tranmission shifting. He is completely happy with his. As for dakotas.....I couldnt tell you as of yet. But as soon as I get one I'll let everyone know how it does.

Message: It works at part throttle by telling the computer your giving it more gas than you are. can you say tps mod. hence why they add no power on the dyno because you go full throttle when you want power

Message: conig, where did you get your info? I dont think we are talking about the same Venom module or something here. My friends doesnt come on till hes about 3/4 throttle. Thats when the module actually starts sending information. If you know a source that says different, let me know before I drop 400 into one. Like I said my friends Tahoe picked up quite a bit with it.

Message: I know a guy that has it on his R/T. Says same thing as conig. Works best under part throttle, and shows little to no gains on the dyno. I was there the day he dyno'd his truck. For shifting the truck it works pretty good. I got to drive his truck. But you can pretty much do the same thing by turning the OD off when you want kickdown at highway speeds. And my truck shifts just as good as his at WOT and I don't have any shift kit, just the TPS mod.

Message: import magazines. import kids love these things. I almost bought one but since all the dynos I saw showed it loosing power it's not worth it. plus go to venom's website. I have heard good things about there nitrous kits though. I may get a vcn-1000 for my dak. I'd love the vcn-2000 but its way to expensive.
