I have the Upgrade Bug :)
Just bought 1.7RR, Mopar Valve Covers, Headers.
Just last month I got the 2bbl M1
Total Engine Upgrades on my 2001
K&N FIPK2
50mm F&B TB
Mopar 2bbl M1
JBA 9mm Wires
Borg Cap&Rotor
Autolites
IAT Adjuster
180-Tstat
MagnaFlow Muffler
Now 1.7rr, Valve Covers, Headers.
Sooner or later I'll be able to make a stock 5.9L from extra parts :)

Hey Anthony what brand did you get...I was thinking about the Crower's, expensive yes, but I want the best. What kind are you springing for? And were they the 5500rpm or 5500rpm and up and what kind of deal did you get?

I moved from Houston to Wichita, Ks about a year ago. I didn't like the emission testing there or the green clouds of death. LOL
I didn't get the best stuff, I got the standard Mopar Polished Valve Covers $133 Total, Mopar 1.7RR that come with pushrods guideplates and everything else needed (cost$464.00(I'm staying under 5500rpm's and Gibson Chrome headers for $357. That prices after handling and stuff.
I didn't feel the need to pay another 100-150 for Steel RR. I'll be running around 4800rpms most of the time. Not 6000-8000rpm which steel RR are made for.
So total price is less than 1K, still have 2k to play around with :) I'll need some new tires soon and who knows what else down the line. Maybe some more Tools, Workbench, Dakota Tech Book, and some more money before I tackle Heads, and Cam. I'll wait a few months after Speedtweaks come out with the Twin Turbos to see how good they are.

They do not test here in Kansas!
