Message: Changing the plugs in a 4.7 is easy.. just make sure you use anti-sieze compound on new plug threads before reinstall, and gap at .040 . The 3923 plugs are good really wont see fuel mileage increase, but idle is better, at least some say.

Message: i changed plugs on my 2000 4.7..put in 3923's they were 1.09$..my champs that come in the truck was worn bad bad..30,000 miles truck was running sluggish so i did it..put in the 3923's reset comp..ran for about 2 weeks..really did'nt run any better..so i desided to go with new champs. went to autozone..got champion truck plug 4071's put them in and reset the comp. man runs like it has 10,000 miles instead of 30,000 got its zip back..now 33923's are cheap so you can give the a try..and if you don't like them go with champs..took me 2 hrs first time about 1-1/2 the second time...dodge dealer quotes 125$ and up...

Message: They are EASY to change but honistly it's not worth changing them unless your having a problem w/ the old plugs.

Message: HU? The autolights should have a little ball w/ threads on it that you have to screw into the top of the plug but the wires stay the same. On the 4.7 you don't even have the plug wires.. But I guess you have somethin else.
