I'm looking for someone who can verify for me whether or not the new 360 intake kit with the heat shield will actually fit on a 2.5 - Joe up there hasn't tried it on a 2.5 yet.

In the past, the intake for the 2.5, 3.9, and 5.9L motors were identical. I haven't seen one of his intakes installed on one, but I saw a 2.5L engine the other day and the air hat/etc. looked the same to me.

Right - the question is, does it set in the same place - I'm under the impression that the air hat on the 2.5 is farther back in the engine compartment than the others. Maybe we need some measurements?
