Hey guys, I know we have all been through this before, but I want to slightly lower my 4x4. I know what your thinking, but lets move on...
Can I use a shackle and hanger kit on the rear like they use on the 4x2 even though it is spring over axle??
And for the front, maybe torsion bars out of a Durango..they seem to sit a little lower in front? If not how much will my suspension suffer it I soften the torsion bars to make it sit about 2" lower??

Thanks for any help, and I am prepared to be flamed..

I have a 2001 QC 4x4 with the 4.7 and I rebuilt it from the frame up. I torsion bars on mine are not set right like they were from factory after the rebuild. My front end sits a little lower in front making it almost look like its 2x4. I read in this months issue of "Sport Truck" magazine that having the torsion bars set to low can throw off the geometry of the front end and cause problems. Im getting ready to set mine back to normal because it doesn't ride as nice, its kinda rough and I don't want to screw anything up in the front end. Its up to you. Look on page 29 of April 2002 "Sport Truck" magazine and read for yourself. I wouldn't try anything different!!! My opinion!
