I have a 01 4.7 liter and need to chip it ! it governs out at 98mph (pretty embarassing when racing) and I have no clue what the best chip is for horsepower, etc. Any one have any ideas?

Also try ASE chips. They have a chip for the 4.7L. Most of the chips and reprogramming are only good for the 2000's. Try ASE first.

Have you found any dyno sheets from ASE for Dakotas? I talked to a tech some time ago and he said he'd e-mail the sheets for a 4.7L but of course he never did. ASE does have a pretty quick turn around to get your PCM back to you. 48 hours isn't bad. It's probably more like 72 hours altogether though.
