Message: I want to say thank you to all of you for all of your info on this page. I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4 with a 6cyl 5 speed and I want to make this homebrew for my truck. Do anyone know where I can go and see some photos on this. And what is the best size 3" or 4" and what K&N part# should I get. If anyone can help me THANK YOU

Message: Anyone who has used the fernco quick 90, are you referring to the rubber 90, or is there an plastic one that I am just not finding in the store? If so, does it have a tendancy to collaps during WOT?

Message: The rubber fernco, clamps tight, and doesn't collapse. On my 4.7, putting out over 350 ft/lbs of torque, it's fine.

Message: Put mine on yesterday. Used the qwick 90, 7inches of ABS painted white with high temp paint, and another 3in ferco coupling attached to stock airbox with a drop in K&N. Sounds better. Butt dyno says its got more getup and go, but maybe that's just from the new sound of air rushing in.
