I want to say thank you to all of you for all of your info on this page. I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4 with a 6cyl 5 speed and I want to make this homebrew for my truck. Do anyone know where I can go and see some photos on this. And what is the best size 3" or 4" and what K&N part# should I get. If anyone can help me THANK YOU

Anyone who has used the fernco quick 90, are you referring to the rubber 90, or is there an plastic one that I am just not finding in the store? If so, does it have a tendancy to collaps during WOT?

The rubber fernco, clamps tight, and doesn't collapse. On my 4.7, putting out over 350 ft/lbs of torque, it's fine.

Put mine on yesterday. Used the qwick 90, 7inches of ABS painted white with high temp paint, and another 3in ferco coupling attached to stock airbox with a drop in K&N. Sounds better. Butt dyno says its got more getup and go, but maybe that's just from the new sound of air rushing in.
