 Subject: TransGo Shift Kit Pls Help

I just put my truck in the shop today to get the transmission rebuilt and figured that I might as well have a shift kit put in while they had it open. I got a TransGo TFOD-HD2 reprogramming kit. I was told that this is for street/offroad/full race use. I will be doing some heavy off-roading and some towing of my boat every once in a while. Will this kit be ok, and is it streetable???

Installed same kit on my 2000 r/t a few weeks ago. Not as radical as a change in the way the trans. shifts as you might think. Just slightly firmer but quicker shifts. Went conserative on the options you have when installing. If you go more than 2 turns out on the "PR" screw adjustment, shifts will be harsh for daily driving. Went one turn out on mine and it shifts good enough for me.
