Message: Both Baer and Brembo sell performance brakes for the viper. What would need to be done in order to get these on my 2001 Dak? Right now I have a 3.9L and I want to upgrade to the 5.7L Hemi if/when it comes out and would like the extra braking power.

Message: I found a shop with a Viper being rebuilt here in town last summer and I took some shots of the spindles I can send 'em to you if you like. If I remember right the spindles from the Viper are a lot shorter and the Ball joint comes in from the opposite side of the spindle. (I'm at work right now.)
More (Braking) Power to you.
Middy.

Message: Could you also send me the photos, because this
the brake upgrade I will most likely do to my
truck also. The only other company that makes a
true upgrade is Stillen and those are pure race
brakes that cost $3600 just in parts. I can get
the Viper brakes for $800 and have the rest
fabricated to fit.

let me guess, on of your "differance of opinions" is the use of no2. expecially in combination with a blower. ;-)

Message: i just diped a rag into some hot water and held it to the sticker. after it heated up i pulled the sticker off and it left the glue on the paint. i put the tar remover on and let it sit for about 30sec and wiped off with a rag. it makes the glue gum up and you can wipe it off.

Message: Ohhh U used hot water first....now ya tell me haha. I sprayed that stuff on there and waiting a bit then tried to scrape it off w/ my finger nail...I think it took me 10 min to scrape off 1/4 of the "D" from Dakota. I think I pulled my fingernail outta the socket. Is there an alternative to hot water...cuz its about 40 degrees outside and if I took a pale of hot water out there it'd get cool fast.

Message: Okay here's my question: I understand how to get the DODGE stickers off the tailgate, pretty easy. I own a 2001 SLT and have the rubber side "bumpers" and the metal DODGE on the side of the truck. Any ideas as of how to get those off?

Message: after i aplied the tar remover, i used a clean towl and wiped it. the glue starts to ball up like gum. then you can pick it off and finish wiping it off with the towl.
not sure about the slt bages. i heard you can use some fishing string and go between the badge and the door, then use the tar remover to get the glue off

Message: Took my DAKOTA SLT off the doors today using a product called un-du Sticker & decal remover. Got it at Autozone. Package also lists www.un-du.com.
It was very easy, the bottle comes with a little plastic scraper that got under the letters easily.
Heated them up with a hairdryer then scraped them off. Then used the cleaner and some cotton rags and you can't tell they were ever there.

Message: I tried to get the glue off w/ that bug and tar remover but that didn't do it at all...so I went and bought this oil called Oops I squirted some on the glue and it came off in an instant hardly had to scrub like the tar remover. Got the new decals on...looks ALOT better than the R/T stickers.
