 Subject: Cold Air Box Beneficial?

I'm getting a Reflexxions Cowl Induction hood, and wondering the best way to make use of it. Was initially thinking of an K&N 14" XStream air filter mated to a cold air box, sealed to the hood with foam? Is this even necessary with cowl induction, since it's not ram air, but works off the low pressure area at the base of the windshield? Is there a better way? Thanks for any replies.

anytime you can keep the warm air from mixing in with the cold air,has to be better! just my .02.
