400HP with Only with 8.5 PSI?
Twin Areodyne Turbos Air-To-Water Intercooler
The only critical mods were a switch to 8.5:1 from 10.1:1, the addition of piston-cooling oil squirters, shorter connecting rods, thicker piston pins,higher-flow oil pump and fuel injectos, and a freer-flowing exhaust system. Transfer case was swapped for the all-wheel drive unit found in the 6.0L Escalade. GM's new Bel-Air will have a I5 Turbo setup running 315hp.
I hope Domestics engines start getting more Turbo setups, then the Rice Cars wont have any advantage other than VVT,I stuff and high rev engines.
Blah, Dodge needs a Twin Turbo Viper V10 4x4 setup. 800-1000hp sounds good to me.

Message: Yeah they definitely have something with that line of engines. The stock 4.2L makes their 4.8L V8 a bit of a joke. Shame that everything that engine will go in are so damn ugly!

Message: Any inline engine seems so well balanced unless it's the GM's Saturn I4! That thing is ruff at high RPMS.
About Style, yea GM is way off base with it's TrailBlazer, Avalanche, and much more! You should check out the GMC Equinox! That's another Avalanche look alike. Ewwww
Now Chryslers Pacifica looks nice, yea it's not a truck. But it has style. I heard the Durango will be redesigned 2004/sale winter 2003 on a hydroformed chassis and with a family resemblance to the full-size Ram.

Message: I think G.M. has aliens working for them, that will explain the horrendous look and durability, but good performance.

Message: GM was infiltrated by Fischer Price
During the '90s there wasn't a single design that I can think of that I didn't like, they were ditching the excess plastic quite well. Then BAM! they make the fugliest designs that I have ever seen actually make it out of GM.
The Trailblazer isn't really ugly, but it's not handsome either.
