Message: No doubt about all the granolas around here. I feel its my duty to try and off set their vocal minority. There aremore sensible people around here then you would think, it's just both our papers are just liberal rags, and these wackos get a lot of press. My favorite thing is the peace 'march' (it's like 10 pairs of sandals tops)every Wendsday I get to blow through on my way home wrapping my gas hog Dakota up to 4000 rpm and waving the flag!

Message: Just to answer a previous question on this thread:
No...the kits are NOT Carb Approved and will not be "Smog Legal". Unless DC wants to give us the money for CARB testing and approval (fat chance in hell on that one)...it'll be labeled as "For Offroad or Racing ONLY - Not Emissions Legal".

Message: Actually Canucker, it's probably coming faster than you think. They are already emissions testing in Southern and Eastern Ontario. And apparently they aren't stopping there.
Cheers!

Message: yeah I know ... do you know if it's a provincial regulation in Ontario? cause with the drunk rednecks we always get here for Premiers, it'll take a long time to push emissions testing by them!

Message: It is indeed a provincial thing. British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick all have mandatory testing and I believe Quebec is working on it. If the Kyoto accord is approved, it will quickly become a Federal law.
I have to get mine tested in February. because it'll be 3 years old and that's when my plates run out. Once passed, I'm good for 2 years.
Cheers!
