Message: it will take longer for them to make a difference. The computer has to learn that these mods are there and that takes ~~200 miles.

Message: orrrrr rather than drive 200 miles disconecet the battery for a minute or so to alow the comp to clear reconect it make sure the car is in nutral or park rev the engine to 2000 rpm's or there about and hold for 2 minutes then allow to idle drive it for a minumum of 10 miles and the pcm should have relearned the settings it needs to know

Message: Darcviper: The PCM requires about 200 miles for the long-term fuel trim adjustment (basically learing your driving style). The short-term fuel trim is readjusted within the first 50 miles. Don't know where you got the info for running the engine at 2000rpm...the PCM will still need to learn different load and speed scenarios. Without putting a load on the engine, it won't adjust properly. However, the PCM will learn the 2000rpm revving and will readjust one your driving again...so much for that theory. ;)

Message: All of the OBD-I and OBD-II computer system have an adaptive learning process. There's no way around it and revving the engine to 2000rpm for just a few minutes is plain silly.
