Message: I recently bought the stage II Intense Performance intake from speedtweaks. Bernd was fantastic at getting me the right product in a hurry after receiving a kit for the V6/5.2/.9 engines. To make a long story short, after spending 4 hours, 20 bucks, and 6 bent to bleeding fingernails later, I got it installed, but not entirely with the kits parts. I wouldn't care to repeat it ever again. If anyone needs/wants more details about what and why, just reply. Feel free to tell me what a breeze yours was or share your grief as well.

Message: Well, sorry you had trouble.
My Home made intake system, with true cold air, on my 01 4.7L works great, and was pretty easy to install. I've also got the rubber flap removed, and a homemade plastic wall separating the filter from the engine and radiator. Hence the true cold air. With filter, ferncos, cost about $45, mostly the K&N.
Mines painted black, I don't mind the way it looks, your store bought one probably is a little nicer looking though.
Bernd is very good about questions and all.
HOpe the rest of your mods go alittle easier.

Message: Well wrath i know what your talking about. You probably had a tough time relocating the cruise control with the new bracket I.P. provides. It was a pain getting that on and the cruise ctrl back in. After that the install went smooth.

Message: I'll tell the whole thing later today, but it was an issue with the 3" radiator hose connector being ungodly tight and too short.

Message: Mine took 2 minutes of unbolting and pulling the old airbox out and one minute to slip the new intake in.
