Myself and some freinds will be going to the track in Baytown, Tx. on Friday night for Street Night. Just want to see what the mods have done for my E/T. Anyone else in the Houston area want to meet up. There are usualy a few Dakotas up there, but I don't know if any of them are on this board. I'm open to suggestions for times to meet and where if anybody is interested.

Street Night sounds like fun. Do you pay a fee and have a certain number of runs? Do you get time slips? How much does it cost? What time?
This Friday may not work for me as I may have conflicts plus the weather may suck.

It's open evry Friday & Wendsday nights,and on Sundays to the general public. Different nights have different rules. Fridays you get a full time slip(1/4 mil,1/8 mil, 60',top speed, RT), but the time is not displayed at the traps (so only you know your time). You also can run as many times as you can get through the lines, and the cost is $15 to run & $8 to watch. My wife usually goes but it's too loud for my son.

Looks like the weather is going to be great for racing Friday night - dry and cold.
I'll try to send you an EMAIL later when I'm logged into AOL. I use Explorer most of the time and do not have an EMAIL set up with Explorer. If you click on my Profile, my EMAIL address with AOL is linked.
I probably won't be able to get there this Friday due to other commitments. My daughter is having her first date and everyone is acting like its a big deal that I may need need to be involved with.
I live in the Katy area, opposite ends of the earth from Baytown. Sounds like a lot of fun. I will go if I can.

This isn't a one time thing, when the weather is good we go all the time. I don't always run my truck, but if you come I will. If you don't make it this time we'll get together later. I live in Huffman and work in Baytown so it's not too far for me. Just let me know when you want to go.

I live in Nederland, Texas(its 30 min outside of beaumont and aobut 1hour 30min from Houston) well i go to the track for the NHRA races and i want to send my dakota down the track but im not to sure what my dad would say ( im still 17) but anyways the next time yall go to the track give me a holler maybe we could meet up...thanks

Sorry I won't be, my 16 month old niece was admitted to Texas Childrens Last night. They think she has some kind of nasty virus, but they are not sure of anything yet. I'll be spending my free time there untill she is better.
P.S. I SMOKED a SN 95 Cobra last night on 288 going to the hospital. This NOS is BAD A#@
