I'll let you know, I'm going to have to find someone with a Mig wielder. I don't know of any muffler shop around here good enough for them to cut my cat out. Since it's illegal an all.

MikeD, seems like we have been almost taking the same route with the performance parts we been installing. I'm going with RR and not the header yet. Seems the stock exhaust manifolds work very well, have you had any problems with header leaks or loose bolts?

FIPK2 K&N:
STOCK MOTOR NO GAIN/MODDED MOTOR LOTS OF GAIN

50MM F&B TB

2BBL M1
STOCK MOTOR SOME GAIN MAYBE/MODDED MOTOR OYEA

MAGNA FLOW MUFFLER

JBL 9MM Wires

BORGW CAP&ROTOR

180 STANT T_STAT
MOTOR RUNS STRONGER IN SUMMER TIME

AUTOLITES 3923'S
CHEAP REPLACEMENT PLUGS AND COLDER FOR MOTOR WITH PING

IAT Adjuster

Next Project:
CUT 3RD CAT
10-15hp at the CRANK est.

MOPAR VALVE COVERS
NEEDED TO 1.7RR

Intall Comp Cams Stainless steel rocker 1.7RR
With guideplates and new pushrods.
20-25hp at the CRANK est.

The rail rockers could be bad, so I've heard.
They break off or something? Steel also is better than aluminum.

I've checked and they seem to be tight after all those cool downs...the muffler guy said they had lock washers on them and shouldn't get that loose but to check it at about 500 miles. No leaks either. After getting all that air into your engine you'll be surprised how it feels when its pushing it out. ALOT less doggy through the RPM's

anthony, did you have to replace the o-ring on the water pumb bypass hose?

did you seal the little holes in the back of the intak?

also, what holes in the intake did you have to plug with the plugs that came with the kit?

I'm not Anthony but I'll tell U it took me and my friend forever to try and figure out those weird shaped holes in the back closest to the passsenger side...well to plug those holes U have to use a plug on the inside of the intake where the air is fed into. If U look closely and U can follow the place where the air would flow through the tube to the back where those holes were. Maybe we're idiots but it stumped us for a bit. I dunno about Anthony but for the brake booster hose that connects to the intake we had to buy a reducer cuz the hose was too large for any of the vacuum holes on the intake. There was also a hole in the middle at the front we had to plug. Then the whole passenger side vacuum holes. One vacuum hole on the drivers side.

Hope that helps,

~Mike~

Mine is a 2001 R/T...we just used to stock o-ring cuz it looked like it was still in good condition so I just saved the one that came w/ the kit incase I ever needed it.

Stock o-ring where good, non where damage in the removal of the injectors. Use some oil on you finger to install o-ring for easy installation.

I used a longer brake booster hose instead of a reducer like Mike. I just used the bigger steam from the passengers side instead.
