Subject: 4.7 ignition& TB IP: Logged
Message: Does any body have suggestions or proof of the best pcm or module upgrade for my 2001 4.7.I currently have a jet stage two but it does not make a big signifigent change.I am also currentlly looking into replacing my throttle body for a 70mm billet TB. Will I see a nice gain?I already have a intake and exaust system.Also are there any upgrades for my injector/igniter setup.Any help would be much appreciated

Message: The best way to go with your PCM is to have is reprogrammed by either KRC or Mike Leach from what I understand. As far as your throttle body goes maybe you should get the 72mm because the 2001 already has a 68mm. Plus you already have the headers & exhaust setup. You will have to upgrade to a 4 inch intake though. MSD makes a stacker ingnition that may work on our vehicles. Check out their web page. You'll find it eventually. KRC has 15-24lb. injectors. KRC is also testing the MSD stacker. Check out the KRC web page as well.

Message: kenne-bell optimizer II! I love mine
the psm flashes lack data to know which one is better.
the dyno's on the 70mm have shown only minor gain's and kenne-bell told me there dyno testing had shown the same.
