Anyone out there put a hurst shifter (part# 391 5050) in a 4x4 v6 dakota w/ a 3" body lift? It's a long shot, but I need to know if it works!

Sorry, I should have been more clear... it has to be a v6 because the transmissions are not the same. I know some people have them in 4x2 trucks, but I'm just wonderng if any body lifted 4x4s have managed to make it work. Thanks again!
