 Subject: Are there AM forged pistons for the 4.7?

Are there after market forged pistons for the 4.7L engine yet. If not, will there be do you think, or are they being considered/in the making. That would be awesome, being as how I am probably now the only 4.7L owner who is nervous of the hypereutectic (sp?) cast pistons.

Why would you be nervous about a hyperutectic piston? They have proven them selves very strong and scuff resistant.
2001 RC 4.7 5sp 9.25" 3.92 LSD
Ported throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat. Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

JE will make any piston you want! Have you tried TRW? I know they make an improved piston for the 4.7. I do not know if it is forged or not.

Ross and Arias will also make any forged piston you want.
Just have to send them a sample, wait a long time and $PAY$ for them.
