 Subject: new rim=prob with gear shift???

OK i just put a set of R/T rims on my dak spt 4.7 auto. I knew it was gunna slow it down due to the bigger diameter of rim and tire, however if i take off at about 1/2 throttle or more it seems like it stalls before shifting. I mean its really laggy, and very noticable. Is the rim change making this happen or should i be concerned about sumthing else.
p.s. ALso my ABS light and my brake light came on over the weekend, anyone have this happen. I was just driving down road didnt mash brakes hard or anything.
