Subject: problems w/ superchargers?
IP: Logged

Message:
While recently researching a supercharger for my 4.7 I was told that superchargers are designed to work for factory systems. Therefore, if I wanted to get 17"rims and a true dual exhaust including new headers it would require further mods to the truck and supercharger. Is this true and to what degree? I want performance but at what cost. Also, if I do add all of these to my truck what will it require more frequent and costlier maintenance? Thanks alot for your time.

you can add a supercharger and be done with it. if you add headers,TB, and a cat back exhaust, it will make the SC more efficient and will make more power. you will not have to change anything on the supercharger when adding other mods to the engine.

you can run whatever size rims and tires you want without doing anything to the engine.
