Guys, I check Ebay Motors almost daily for cool stuff for my 97 SLT.They have tons of stuff for our trucks,and a lot of times at a lot better prices than retail and even web wholesalers.Just go to Ebay homepage,click on Ebay motors,click on Parts and Accessories then use the search function to look for "dakota" or "msd" or "headers" or whatever! They have everything from wheels to superchargers (NIB powerdyne for $1,000).

P.S. This is not spam, I am in no way connected with Ebay other than as a buyer.I just sometimes notice the prices you guys mention you pay for stuff and I know that it went cheaper at Ebay.Actually I may be shooting myself in the foot by getting more people that I will have to bid against!

Always also check out other sources first. For instance you will see clear corners on there all the time. Retail for clear corners is about $75.
One of the most frequent is ProCarParts.com selling these. On their site they sell these for $43.95 + Shipping $10.95. On eBay they regularly go for $46-$55 and ProCarParts charges $11.95 for shipping.
I'm not sure why people bid way more than the company's direct sell price. I suspect it's because they didn't do their homework.
I ended up getting mine for $49 including shipping through direct purchase. I probably bid on 10 sets only to be out bid every time.

Yeah, ebay is great, but you have to do your homework first, so you know if it is a deal, or a quality part.
So far I have gotten:

I just bid on a new monitor , LCD flat screen. Getting sick of this one,its HUGE!!!Plus,I cant even see it around 12:00 to 2:30 because of the glare from the window!! I know,I know...I had to tell her something to get her to think we NEEDED the LCD flat screen.
Anyway,this is the first time I ever usued EBay,so I hope I have a good experience with it.

Hey man, that computer glare ain't no joke. I should know....I'm a computer 'dork' for a living. Anyways, it's not eBay you have to watch out for.....it's some of the nuts who post on there. If you watch your back, you'll be just fine there. :)

I hope so , I didn't feel like waiting , so I used the BuyNow option. I made the bid,then contacted the seller via e-mail. Got it for what I was willing to pay for it,so thats a good thing.I had to do a re-tract on my bid though,hope that doesn't hurt me. I was afraid if I didn't,I could have won the bid,and have to pay twice for it.

The only 'bad' experience I had was actually when I was 'forced' to screw somebody over for a while. I sold a CD player at work, and immediately after the auction ended, the server crashed...and I lost EVERYTHING, including my logon name to eBay. (I had it set up so it automatically put in the information.) About a month later, when I got the information back, I wrote the guy, told him what happened, sent him the CD player and gave him the money for shipping as a sort of 'consolation' for waiting so long. eBay is, as my coworkers say, 'the bomb.' *L*
