i have a 00 4.7 the first ones with one cat.and 235hp..i have 30,000 miles..now have checked all other post on this subject..you can't get good answer..so please be specific..

I have a 2K Dak, 4.7 auto. And I used the Autolite Platinum. Work very well, tried them for 10,000 miles, than went to the Autolite 3923 plugs tried them for 3,500 miles I couldnt really tell much difference in performance, other than the Platinum lasts alot longer, I believe it is just personnal preference. well thanks i read on other post that the 3923 add 5 or 7 hp..then some say they notice no diff.also some say they make theres run worse..thank you for reply

This question has come up many times in the past few weeks. I guess a lot of folks are changing their plugs lately.
I did a lot of research about this and ended up with the BOSCH +4 (#4418)
You are free to repeat the research yourself... do not forget to search all of EDMUNDS, MOPARCHAT, DEJA.COM and ofcourse the DML. You will find that for the 4.7L V8 hemi, there is only one other sparkplug that compares. (Denso Irridium which costs almost $150 to purchse all 8 of them.)
Lets not forget that BOSCH invented the very first sparkplug.... everyone else has been trying to catch up ever since ;-)
On the same subject... I have the factory shop manual with my 2000 Dakota. ONLY change the plugs on a STONE COLD engine... lest risk stripping the aluminuim threads. Do not forget to apply silicon grease to the COP o-rings and antiseeze to the plug threads.
