Subject: roller rocker arms IP: Logged
Message: I picked up a set of Mopar Performance roller rocker arms (secondhand but new in box). This kit has 16 plastic(?) pieces the size of a scrabble piece. There is an elongated hole the same diameter as the pushrod. Plastic as internal component? If anyone has installed this kit (P5249800) drop a line, I am baffled.

Message: what's even more funny is that aHHHHh doesnt realize those 16 plastic pieces are part of the pushrod guide plates... the guide plates would be useless without them.
there's plenty of plastic throughout the different types of motors out there.. A lot of older motors have the timing chains teeth incased in plastic. I found this out on my big block. There are also cam buttons, oil pump bushings, oil pump shaft connectors, etc etc.
