Subject: Which SC is best? IP: Logged
Message: I'm thinking about installing a SC on my truck (I would've prefered a turbo, but it does not look like it will be available any time soon, specially in CA). I know of 2 different sistems available, the Kenne Bell and the Paxton. Which one is better? I read somewhere in this site that the KB has software problems and confuses the trany. The Paxton on the other hand, is very expensive (+/- $4,000). Anybody familiar with each system?
Thanks and truck on...

Message: i am familiar with Paxton, Vortech, ATI, and Powerdyne. The first two are the best on the market, the ATI is nice but the intercooler is rather "cheesy", and the Powerdyne is the "Entry Level" blower. All make boost...it just depends on how much and how quick.
