Subject: High Oil Pressure

Hello All,
Pretty cool to find a site / newsgroup specifically for Dodge Dakotas! I just barely bought a '95 Dodge Dakota V6 with 57k miles on it. The truck is in great condition and with the low miles, I can't imagine that there is anything to really worry about but I have noticed that the oil pressure guage constantly shows a high reading (with engine cold or hot). The needle is not buried in the high but pretty close. I went and got the oil changed at Jiffy Lube yesterday. I tried a thinner oil than standard (10w40) and of course got the oil filter changed but there is no difference. Anyone have problems with a high oil presure reading? The service tech at Jiffy Lube (if you can call him that) said that "all" Dodge trucks run high oil pressure while other friends have told me high pressure isn't really a big deal at all. Please help!
Thanks,
Bryson Jack
