How are they gonna get tires for those 24 inch wheels? From what I've read, it's hard enough to find them for the 20s & up. 500 hp! WoooHOOO! I'm just wondering though... how much more than my house are those suckers gonna cost?

Well didn't the 5.9 360 first appear in the Ram and then later on they decided to take it over to the Dakota? Why don't they do the same thing...its already been proven they can fit a V10 into a Dakota cuz I saw pics of that one dudes truck who took a wrecked Viper's engine out and swapped it out, so it can be done. If the 5.7 Hemi if as far as they go that'll suck. Even the new Hemi is more HP than the Trans Ams isn't it?

I'm just wondering how they plan on keeping those rear wheels on the ground with a Viper powerplant up front. If you put that thing in a Dakota, you'd be hard pressed to keep the thing on the road, I believe!

i'm with lesley, the 24" tires just aren't going to work.
500 lb-ft of torque will have them roasted every time you step on the gas. So you might as well just figure in a bi-monthly payment for about $1000 for two rear tires.

they should have just made it AWD, at 5000 lbs its not exactly a feather-weight without it. Besides the tires are gonna spin so much that the extra weight of AWD won't slow u down as much as the spinning. This thing looks cool but nobody is gonna pay more then 35K
