Subject: Bernd help engine bogging!! IP: Logged
Message: Ok Santa was good to me this yeah i got a k&n fipk and a gibson swept side exhaust. well passing power has increased alot when it kicks from 4th to 3rd it really kicks and from 3rd to 2nd also. and from second to first it will bark the tire(singular that sucks. But the problem is when i am at a dead stop when i tromp on it then it bogs down and then goes. i would think it should really light up the tire. so bernd any suggestions??
99 V6 2wd rc with k&n fipk and gibson exhaust and a 180 t-stat.

Message: do you think that removing the cooling fan and installing an electric unit would help?

Message: Adjust the TPS sensor and look into a modified throttle body. The bog is primarily caused by either one of those two items or a combination thereof.
