Dam, that's very encouraging. Wish they had some more photo coverage of the engine bay and install though. Sounds like KB has heard the bell toll:) More RWHP and less $$. If I can find $3,500 laying around for performance mods, it would probably be the Paxton SC or a turbo(if someone makes one). Had Paxton SC on my 89 S10 Blazer with 8" of lift and 33's, no problem spinning the tires:)

Funny, I read that as "when the light turns green" :)

Wait a minute guys, in the 5th paragraph, it says they put the Durango on a (Mustang) dyno, it's probly over rated just like your average Rustang, hehe j/k. It says it uses direct engine oil, does it have it's own oil or do you have to run a line from your oil pan?

You have to run a line from a oil passage to the supercharger then to the pan. The oil pan isn't really that hard to take off.

CW.....

Have you ran your Dakota in the 1/4 mile??

I have a 2000 SLT RC 4.7 5-spd 3:92 L/S. Bone-stock, with 3/4 tank of gas, spare tire, and factory radials, it went 15.3 @ 89mph.... Sound about right? The truck has a little over 5K miles on it.

I just purchased it. I've put a roll-pan on it, tonneau cover, 275-60-15 F/S SS20's, Clear tails, Flowmasters, hood scoops, and carpeted liner.

I want to put a inter-cooled Pro-Charger on it, but I don't think they make a kit for the 4.7.

Just curious as to others 1/4 mile times in the 4.7 5-spd RC trucks. I know I can get it in the 14's with the BIG tires, traction bars, and the free'er flowin exhaust. I would like low 13's to mid 12's.... Got to make those Z-28 & other F-body owners feel bad about getting spanked by a little truck.

No, ever since I bought the truck there has been snow on the ground. A the moment I can't get full throttle until third gear. From what I have seen that is about right for the quarter. You have to remember that weather and altitude play a pretty big roll in the times.
I am going to do a little resurch this weekend and see if my truck is running to rich or lean at full throttle. I am trying to put together a return fuel system with adjustable pressure regulator to help tune this thing.

cw why would you want to go return when you could tune it with an apexi afc or a roe racing engine controller?

you could adjust it at various points of the rev range and still keep the returnless

There is HP to be had with the cooler fuel as well. Plus it will only cost me the price of a regulator and tubing. The Roe racing engine controller will probably come as well, but the cost is a little much right now.
