Message: How much power does switching to a 180 degree thermo add? and why? is there more power just because the engine is running cooler?

Message: On my QC 5.9 the 180 thermostat was a power loss and mpg loss. But it WILL get rid of any ping. It is cold here so if you are in a hot area the loss may not be as severe. If your are not pinging I doubt that you will see any gain esp. on a stock engine. Just my opionon.

Message: I use a 160 because at the drags it tends to heat up so the 160 keeps it at 180. Especially when I push it for a few runs
