well you can go to homedepot and get some PVC pipe and a K&N filter and make your own cold air intake (about $50 total)

get a high performance muffler (dinomax, flowmaster, ect) and weld it in place of the stock muffler. about $60

go to a junk yard and get a throttle body and linkage from a V8 dakota with the same year and port and polish it (i think speedtweaks has details on their web site)

with the rest of the money, get some 1.7 roller rockers (i think mopar is the cheapest) i got mine for $299 from the dealer.

then you should have enough left over for headers.

good luck, your truck will run WAY better

Use a Flowmaster series 50 Delta Flow, sounds SWEET. then get on Speedtweaks web site and look at the T-body upgrade. Go to Autolites # 3923 spark plugs. Air induction kit or a home made system i use the K&N DROP IN, WORKS WELL AND MODIFY THE STOCK AIRBOX for more air flow.

hey..
would it be wiser to put the air filter in the side wall of the truck ... or no... ive seen some cold air intake systems left out in the open and ive seen others positioned in the side wall....which would be better for my application...?
also,,, does n e one know of a few good websites to oder performance parts at resonable prices?
