Is there any way of replacing all the bushings in a 2001 QC to greaseable fittings. My suspension is feeling dry and is loud as hell. Its got 16000 miles on it do you think the dealer will replace them?
Thanks

You might want to check the litany of postings in these forums about the Dakota's ball joints. Dakotas come with incredibly crappy ball joints from the factory. The first one to squeak is usually the driver's side lower.

Good luck,
JohnBen

Im also getting the squeaking from the rear. It feels like everything needs to be greased but there are no fittings. I want to replace everything with greaseable fittings. I should bring it to the dealer it only has 16000 on it.

Squeaking or creaking? I even hear something from
the rear when I stop the car and just get out (ok,
I could use to lose a few pounds). Seriously, I
know it's got a so-called sealed front end, but
what about the rear? Is that shock or leaf spring
related? I'm ready to slam this thing back to the
dealer for a fix...its only got 21k on it.

I have heard of a factory recall for the Durango to put plastic shims between the spring leaves in the rear to stop squeeks, mabey this is the same thing we are hearing in the back.
