Well.. I had to make this decidtion earlier about a year ago. I have a 318 bored out 60 over.. so it is about 328 ci.. stock crank shaft.. resized rods..JE pistons 60 over.. 360 heads with a 3 angle vavle job and bowl porting 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust.. compression ratios 9.50 to 1... Aluminum High raise intake... a large cam intake .465 and exhaust .441 and it is a hydrolic cam and lifter... small tube headers... a stock mopar distirbutor... MSD 6A... MSD Blaster II coil.. 750 cfm Holly carb vacum secondary... holl red fuel pump... I am pushing 400 hp on the engine dyno.. and i only paid about $3000 plus i have around 375lb torque..so if your looking for a cheap strong powerful engine.. and you can pull more power out of it by increasing the compression and a bigger cam.. I only kept the cam smaller so that i don't need a staul convert..
