I relocated my IAT to my cold air intake tube. Can't say I really noticed any difference (this is after 500+ miles since the change). Course, this is in November in Wisconsin. So maybe if it was in July I would have noticed it more.

Some people gain from this move. I lost 14+ h.p. according to the dyno. Saw a post on the differences in the readings that different IATs send. It may explain why some gain and others don't. The IAT adjuster is another point in case. Best performance setting is different from one truck to another according to the posts I have read. You are right about the weather because most are reporting better results during warmer weather.
