Subject: Intake Gaskets and Bolts IP: Logged
Message: I've decided to modify my Beer Keg intake myself. My question is, are new bolts required to correctly torque down the intake manifold again?
Where would be the best place to get some new gaskets? How much torque should I use and which pattern should I torque the bolts down?

Message: before doing that I think you should get a factory service manual, and that should answer all your questions.

Message: YES...replace the factory bolts as they are "Torque to Yield" (one use and then throw away).

Message: Yeh no kidding. You think I would have done all my mods at once, but no so I must have spent a sh1t load of money on intake gaskets and bolts.
