When you hit the limiter, put your truck in neutral and turn off the key and turn it back on. Works every time.

So at 117 mph you want me to shift into neutral turn the engine off then restart it. I wouldn't recommend it, not if the 4.7L Kid wants to become a 4.7L Grown-up.

Has anyone thought of trying it at a lower speed? Maybe 10-20mph then running it up to it's max speed? Seems a little safer, but nothing I care to do. I've gone 140mph in my old 1987 GTA a few years back, sure it's fun. It's funny when the other person thinks there racing you at 100mph or there max speed, while your just toying with them :), then punch it and leave them in the dust. Oyea that was fun. I rather be a stop light warrior than a pan cake on some light pole or tree, or even worse another car.
