I have been looking at all three available exaust systems from gibson (Swept Side, Dual Sport, and Split Rear) and I was wondering which one gives you the most power and aggressive growl out of them. I like the looks of the split rear but if the one of the others gives more power and more growl, I 'll take the other one.

A single 3" will make more power than a dual exhaust, except if the duals are true duals. As for the sound I don't know I jst ordered the flowmaster cat back kit for my 4.7 waiting for it to arrive.

K&N exhaust was made by JBA. It was fully stainless steel, you can still get one occasionally on ebay. Merry Christmas!

LOL! It's just a link to a thread where Bernd is answering a query by another board member about K&N exhausts. He says that they are now known as JBA Evol. (Just highlight the text, control C to store, control V to paste it up top in your "location" which should take you there.)

In July of 2001, JBA Headers acquired the complete line of K & N exhaust systems. Praised by the media for its' unparalleled quality and fitment, JBA saw the K & N exhaust systems as a perfect compliment for the growing line of premium quality smog legal JBA Headers. JBA is now manufacturing these systems and marketing them under the JBA Evol™ Exhaust System brand name through our San Diego, CA facility.
I still member sometin about gibson used to make k&n anyways ,Fleas Navidad

Guys,
I have run Mopar Performance, Flowmaster and am currently running a Summit Racing Stainless Steel Muffler I ordered and the S.R. is by far the best as yet out of that bunch. The M.P. kit and the Flowmaster were both plain painted steel and I live in upstate NY and the road salt ate them alive. 2-3 years no more. I had the system custom bent because I have it on a 92 Dodge B250 Van with the 5.2 Magnum. I have DynoMax Super Turbos on my summer car and will most likely try one of the Stainless muff of theirs next. The summit racin muff was only $80 however ! Great bang for the buck. all these are 3" systems BTW, with a 3" hi-flow CAT. Coupled with a K&N, Accel Ign, and 3923s life is good.
