MSD carries a "Universal Harness" for the Dodges. Don't know if it uses the factory connector though...
Hey Chuck...you used the harness adapter yet?

MSD does make a universal adapter harness (p/n 8873)for late model Dakota's (check with Summit or MSD for specific years). You do need to cut into the stock coil wires with this harness. For a diagram of how this harness is installed, check out http://www.intense99dak.com/msd.htm
If you want to avoid cutting any factory wiring, purchase Accel direct bolt-on coil (p/n 140021) and adapter harness (p/n 140021AH). When you install the coil, coil harness and MSD harness, you can cut the Accel harness and splice MSD's harness to that. This leaves the factory coil wires intact.
http://www.intense99dak.com/images/mydak/coil1.jpg shows the Accel coil and Accel harness installed. This photo was taken before the MSD went in.
Hope this helps ;-)

Message: Chuck, will those Accel coil #s work for a 95? I want an MSD but don't want to cut anything and the Jacobs system is over $600, MSD is under $200 from KRC.

Kevin,
According to the Jeg's online catalog, the coil fits '90 - '97 engines (but I know it fits up to at least a '99 as well). Unfortunately they say that the adapter harness only fits '98 or newer.
If you go to http://www.mrgasket.com/ftp/pdf/CoilsTuneup.pdf on page 17 it shows a close-up of the adapter harness. If your connections are the same, it might work on your '95.

Message: The coil matches, won't need the harness unless I want it so I don't have to cut OEM wires. Thanks.
