Message: Nothing is wrong w/ my truck...I just saw a Ford the other day and was thinking back about all the bad memories I had w/ them and I remember how when you accidentally leave your lights on and needed to charge the battery back up the Ford's alternator wouldn't recharge the battery which I thought was a load of sh!t. Well this is my first Dodge and I don't know anything about them so I was just curious if the Dodge's alternator recharges the battery to almost full state.
Thanks,
~Mike~

Message: On new years day in 1998, I listened to my cd player all day long in my 97 dak on the jobsite and drained the battery almost to death. I drove around for 20 mins on and off the freeway and the battery recharged itself. Another few minutes and I would have had to call AAA. for a jump.

Message: Thats good to know, I got tired of ford's BS...U either had to buy a new battery or buy a charger. I think any vehicles alternator should recharge the battery.
