i have found a turbo setup for the 2.5 that will boost hp to 200+. but i want 300+. i figure an air intake(10), custom exhaust(25), chip (10), what else can i do. other than an engine swap.

Send the head out for porting and bigger valves, custom ground cam. All costly but if you want you wanna go you pay.
2001 4.7 5sp 3.92 LSD sport plus
Ported throttle body, IAT adjuster, flowmaster cat back, adjusted TPS from .51v to .76v

yea its the one at speedtweaks. thats the only
one i've found. there making turbo kits for
other engines in the dakota as well as twin
turbos for the 4.7 and 5.9

If you build the engine well enough, you could throw in some nitrous along with the turbo.

kyle, what CW said. Not to burst your bubble, but I guarantee you won't get 45 hp from exhaust, chip, and intake. You need to get some serious engine work. Nitrous only, if you build a very solid engine.

Yall should note that the turbo in question is still under development. Last time I heard they were looking for a test truck still. They'll need the truck for a week, and want the owner to split cost. You can find more info at www.speedtweaks.net under the turbochargers section.
