I don't know about the "hardcore" part of it.... but I went down the track a couple of times.

i got a 98 cc 5.2 running 12.9 at 104 mph
although i just dropped in a 340 with the magnum heads and fuel injection. should be in the 11's

Yeah, um, I'm at 15.38 @ 89.11 mph, but I haven't done that much to my 4.7L CC 5-spd w/ the 3.55 rear. Now that I've added the 70mm TB and the exhaust, I hope that's picked up a bit. Too bad Atlanta Dragway closes in November. Guess it's 1/8th mile outlaw til next Spring.

14.9 @ 91mph stock, I haven't had time to go back to the track to find out the ET with the mods. Work full time and 12 hours of college takes up all of my time.

Jacob shopped around found 73 340 bored it 30 over. Got 9.5:1 flat top piston which will give me 10.5 about with magnum heads. Alot or work yes, custom made motor mounts(because they only make conversions for 96 and under), custom oil pan, 318 and 340 pans put together, custom crank trigger.... Alot of time. Definetely not direct bolt in.

I have been pricing around options of what to do to my truck...get the turbo kit from speedtweaks, replace my v6 with a 318 or 360. I want to go faster...alot faster just not sure how to get there yet.
