Just got an e-mail from K+N they say (now) the intake kit for the 4.7 will be available in the first quarter of 2002, pricing and availability will be available at that time.

Sounds like their finally on par with what I was told at SEMA.

Got another e-mail from K+N today, I asked if they could tell me how the intake kit would be designed. they said it will replace the whole factory air tract from the TB out using their intake tube, conical filter and heat shield. Just wanted to give this update for anyone who's interested.
