Message: Where are those dyno numbers??
Read Matt Barrets post about little or no gain from 65 to 68.
Bigger TBs provide minimal gain at maximum price.

Message: Dude, what is your freakin' point???
Don't buy the throttlebody. It is very clear that you only have $500 to spend on your truck. You absolutely WILL get more power for $500 from a PCM upgrade. So stick with that.
The rest of us (me included) are going to be spending more than $500, so we will be buying both the PCM and the throttlebody.
But, please just LET IT GO!! You are really going to a lot of effort to prove that 18 hp is more than 10 hp. Just stop!!

Message: Alex- for the record.
I have a 2000 RC 4.7 5 - speed, 3.92 sure grip and ITS PAID FOR, I bought it new and paid cash.(love the look on the salesman face when I whipped out$15,500!!!)
I have FULL Hotchkis with the Bilstiens, MBRP w/cuda tips. Hard tonue cover. AAR cuda hood. IAT, ect ect, oh yes I ALREADY HAVE the Leach PCM,and removed 3rd cat.
I have over $5000 in mods to my truck already. The Kenne-Bell is next for me.
And
So Alex- I can afford ANY TB out there, but they aint worth the price,AND THEY HURT DRIVABILITY!!!!
OH and the TB DONT produce 10 hp UNLESS you have intake and exhaust already. Hell those alone will give you 10.

Message: just to point something out I don't remember seeing any of the throttle bodies have ing a flat throttle bar like a bbk or name brand throttle body. or a knife edged throttle plate.
so it appears to me all any of them are is bored out throttle bodies, something you can get done at almost any speed shop for $100 +-
