Message: That's really good! I just bought my stainless JBA headers, slightly used for $220, and am really happy with them. You'll be surprised how clean the engine compartment will look without the stock exhaust manifold & the aluminum cover.

Message: YES!,,,,I'll buying mine as soon as I get the $400 that Chrysler owes me for incorrectly auto-drafting my account...Said it would take 30 days to refund the money,,,when it only took 2 seconds to take it out... I'm Pissed!
Anywho..I got a '01 4.7, and would like to order these ASAP,,but I have my doubts as to the worthiness of getting headers on this engine.
Has anyone tried them on a normally aspirated 4.7?, and did it do any good performance wise? I've already got the intake, and catback,,,,and will be having it dynoed again to see what the intake did for me next week. What kinda real world gains should I see with my set up?????

Message: I put the JBA ceramic headers on my 4.7 and didn't really notice anything. The sound changed a little is the only thing I really noticed. They are not that hard to install. I didn't have to lift the engine like they said in the instructions. You have to be careful though because the heads are aluminum and are easy to strip out the threads. It is a lot of money to spend for very little gains. If you are planning to get a supercharge it would probably be worth it though.

Message: I didn't lift my engine like they said you needed to. You need a torque wrench, metric wrenches, and sockets with different extensions and a swivel. I used some sealant on the collector but I really don't think you need it. I think it just burned off anyway. I don't think I have any leaks but I don't know for sure. It really wasn't that hard. It took like 7-8 hours. You need to be careful about stripping out the holes in the heads. Don't over torque, go slowly and tighten evenly.

Message: I have not gotten my truck dyno'd yet. I would like to get it done put I am holding off right now. Most people who have tried the chip have not had much gains. Getting the PCM flashed seems to be the best thing to do for that. The TB and z-tube gave me the most power gain I think.
