I drove a 98 Ram today with the 3.9 engine and 5 speed trans. This truck seemed to have twice the power of my 93 Dakota, what could be the problem with mine? I have done several of the modifications listed on speedtweaks and it's better than before. Could the automatic trans be causing the problem? Any information will be appreaciated.

The auto trans will kill the v-6 off the line, not enouph torque heck kills the 5.2 bad enouph. The ram maybe had more agressive gears as well.

I've been suspecting the tranny for some time the shifts are too quick, unless I floor it.
